Ben von Bodensee is a beautiful 12 month old classic German Shepherd. Ben came to us after he was hit by a car and the owners couldn't afford his surgery. He had a fracture, which our wonderful vet fixed, and he is now almost as good as new. He still needs to take it easy for a few weeks, but other than that he will have no problems walking or running or hiking - just like a broken bone for us humans. Ben is medium size and has a very handsome face. He's an easy going guy with a mild temperament and seems to be fine with other dogs as well. Ben really enjoys his walks with the volunteers and loves to snuggle between your legs. He is used to being in a home and we really hate to have to put him into boarding while he is recouping. Ben would so love a foster or even better, a permanent home!
